Testimonials

At For The Good, we believe the true measure of our work is not found in statistics—it is found in the lives of the people we have the privilege to serve.

Every individual, family, veteran, child, and caregiver has a story. Behind each story is a moment when compassion, kindness, and dedicated support helped bring hope during life’s most difficult circumstances. These testimonials are shared by those who have experienced our mission firsthand and reflect the heart of why we exist.

Whether providing support to vulnerable seniors, individuals with special needs, survivors of human trafficking, those battling addiction, veterans, or families navigating complex healthcare challenges, our commitment remains the same: to serve with excellence, dignity, and unwavering compassion.

We are deeply grateful to those who have entrusted us with their stories. Their words remind us that even the smallest act of kindness can create lasting change, and that together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Thank you for taking the time to read these experiences. We hope they inspire you as much as they inspire us every day to continue our mission of bringing care, kindness, and hope to those who need it most.

For The Good — Care and Kindness for the Most Vulnerable.

I’ve had the privilege of volunteering with For The Good, including visiting a nursing home and rehabilitation center during the holidays to share small gifts and spend time with residents. Hearing their stories and connecting with them was a truly meaningful experience. I’ve also enjoyed seeing the mentorship program with Palm Beach Atlantic students inspire the next generation to embrace service and philanthropy. For The Good is a compassionate organization that is making a meaningful difference through faith, kindness, and a genuine commitment to serving others. It is an honor to support their mission.

Good afternoon, I just wanted to share my appreciation and thank you again for helping me so much. I’m truly blessed to have met you! Thank you 1000 times for helping me when I feel behind on rent and for me so kind to take a chance and help me get a certification to be able to work from home with my kids. God bless you!

My name is Melinda, I have two sons ages 15 and 12. I would like to share my story because I’m positive that in the future it would be able to help another family in need. I have been a single mother to my boys since they were born. I want nothing but the best for them because they deserve it. I decided to indulge in a career that I became very passionate about which ment that I would have to make a lot of life changing decisions.

Semi Trucking. My children were very excited and wanted that change for our family. We just didn’t know that most of the time it would leave us homeless. We have weathered every storm together as a family just us three. We have lived on the truck at a truck stop in the snowy season , we also have been to almost every state in that brutal heat. We made it work, we did what we had to do.

We are now back in the sunshine state are home. We were paying rent and being moved around just because of others thought process, like “like ooooh your a trucker you should be giving way more to this living situation. We slept in our car and occasionally went more north to take showers at truck stops just so they can go to school. I had no hope left inside me. It became impossible to save to have the move in money but I eventually found a local job that loved me and I kept on trucking. I kept praying for my family “ What is for us, will be for us”.

That’s when I found the organization FOR THE GOOD!!!!! I was very thankful they moved mountains for my boys and I. We had moments were they talked to me and let me know, I was doing a great job and don’t give up. It’s so hard to not give up when sometime all you need is a shower and you have been busting your butt all day working hard.

The moments of just being able to have them hear me out and understand me was what I needed to reset my mind. FOR THE GOOD gave that to me. They gave me a moment to breathe and time to be heard. They became my families safety net. They shielded us from the cruel world and assisted us.

I called around to community partners and other organizations and they were not able to assist us . I called 211 and they gave me a-lot of organizations but none of them had any funding. FOR THE GOOD assisted us with the move in amount…it was a huge breakthrough, they assisted us with open arms and I’m forever grateful for that!

I just want FOR THE GOOD to know that my family truly appreciate everything that they assisted us with and thank you for bringing us through the worst time of our life.
